Yard Capacity Expanded — More Stock, Faster Loading

Johnathanic Limited is pleased to announce the completion of a major expansion of our distribution yard in Sohag. The investment doubles our covered storage area and adds two new loading bays — making us a faster, deeper and more reliable steel distributor for Upper Egypt.

The expanded yard adds 5,000 square metres of covered storage, protecting rebar bundles from weather and contamination, with rack systems organised by heat number for clean traceability. Two additional loading bays mean more trucks loaded in parallel and shorter wait times on busy mornings.

Total stockholding capacity rises from roughly 3,500 to over 6,000 tons across rebar, welded mesh and structural sections — meaning more grades and diameters available for same-day pickup, and smaller contractors served just as quickly as the largest projects.

The expansion also includes a refreshed weighbridge, additional loading equipment, and improved yard lighting and signage to make night dispatch safer for our drivers and customer trucks alike.

This investment positions Johnathanic to grow alongside Upper Egypt's construction sector and to keep our promise to the mills we represent: that their product reaches site as cleanly, accurately and quickly as it left the rolling mill.
