Frequently Asked Questions

Practical answers about how we sell, deliver and certify steel.

No. Johnathanic is a distributor — an authorized distributor for Egypt's leading steel mills, including Egyptian Steel, Ezz Steel, Beshay Steel, Suez Steel and El Garhy Steel, among others. We do not produce steel; we supply genuine, mill-certified product to contractors and developers.

We carry a deep stock of deformed rebar in grades B400DWR, B500B-DWR and B500D-DWR (per ES 262 / BS 4449) in diameters from 8 mm to 32 mm in 12 m standard lengths, plus smooth rebar, welded wire mesh and light sections. Special grades, sizes or longer lengths are available by mill order with normal lead time.

Yes. Every delivery ships with the original mill test certificate matching the heat number stamped on the bar, plus a weighbridge ticket and our delivery note. We can pre-share the certificates for consultant approval before the load leaves the yard.

Yes. For multi-phase projects we set up a project supply plan — stock reserved against your programme, delivery windows agreed in advance, and our team tracking outstanding quantities throughout the build so nothing is short when a pour day arrives.

There is no fixed minimum for stock items in our yard — we serve small contractors as well as large developers. For mill-direct orders or special grades, the minimum is whatever the mill sets for that product (typically 5–10 tons per heat).

We deliver across Sohag governorate as a base, and routinely into Asyut, Qena, Luxor, Beni Suef, Minya and the New Valley. For larger projects we also deliver to Greater Cairo, the Red Sea coast and the Delta. Our own fleet handles short-haul; long-haul uses contracted carriers under our supervision.

Yes — for contractors and developers with established trade history. Terms are tailored to project duration and milestone schedule. New customers usually start on cash terms and move to credit as the relationship develops.

Send the requirement to our sales team — quantities, grades, diameters, delivery location and dates. WhatsApp, email and phone all work. A typical price quotation comes back within the same business day; for cut-and-bent or mill-direct orders we usually need 24–48 hours.

Yes. If the project specification calls for a specific mill, we will supply that brand and the certificate will show it. We recommend a brand only when the customer is indifferent and the price/availability case is clear.

Yes. The mill warrants the steel against its declared grade, and we stand behind delivery accuracy — correct quantity, correct grade, intact certificates. Any out-of-spec or short-weight delivery is replaced or credited.
